LONG TERM
Long term residential treatment programs are longer than 90 days and provide inpatient care to individuals who would benefit more from longer term treatment. Long term treatment provides a longer time to learn and practice the skills that will help maintain recovery. Long term programs typically offer assessment, treatment planning, individual and family counseling, group therapy, support groups, parenting skills, anger management, linkage to vocational training, educational coursework, and aftercare planning. Rehabs provide opportunities to learn coping skills to manage triggers that may arise when transitioning back to community and throughout recovery.
