Abel House
Sober Living Housing and treatment for substance abuse. Staff work intensely with the residents in formulating individualized service plans. The Ellenville Regional Hospital’s, Project RESCUE, is a resource available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year designed to mitigate the effects of the opioid epidemic, by providing Medication Assisted Recovery (Buprenorphine) to those who present to the Emergency Department in active opiate withdrawal or post overdose. Individuals in need can expect a thorough evaluation by trained and compassionate Emergency Department providers, effective management of withdrawal symptoms and linkage to a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate who will initiate a seamless transition into treatment and/or community-based resources. They also provide on-the-spot Narcan (naloxone) trainings, as well as medication disposal kits.

Never Alone Adolescent Treatment Center has established itself as a leading facility dedicated to the recovery and well-being of adolescents struggling with addiction. Our center offers a wide range of evidence-based treatment programs specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of teenagers. Our inpatient residential programs offer evidence-based treatment, holistic therapies, and medication management based on individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of teen patients. Our treatment approach provides each teen their own personalized care plan that addresses their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
We provide a full-time educator on staff who works closely with a teen’s school to ensure that they are reaching all proper requirements for their grade level. School is held from 9:00 a.m. to noon every day.

SAMADHI
Samadhi is a recovery center for those suffering from substance use and related disorders and addictions. Our community-based Outreach center opened in April 2019. The core program is based on alternative treatment modalities: Integrative Harm Reduction Psychotherapy (IHRP), Mindfulness-Based Addiction Recovery (MBAR), Eye Movement Desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Somatic Experiencing. This program is based on “meeting the patients where they are at”. Samadhi’s approach is to help individuals develop their own healing capacities through strength-based treatments and encourage them to move towards paths that enliven, empower, and enrich.
The outpatient clinic offers MAT services as well. Children can also be seen at our outpatient facility. Counselors and therapists are trained in diversity and inclusion and assist patients in the BIPOC and LBGTQ+ community.

Detox - When a person develops a tolerance to drugs and alcohol and then suddenly stops, the body begins to experience withdrawal symptoms. Detox facilities have professionals on site 24 hours a day who are trained to help ease these symptoms and assist that person in getting through detox as comfortably and safely as possible.
Short-Term Residential Rehabs - range from 2 weeks to 90 days and are intensive person centered treatment programs. Short term rehab facilities typically offer assessment, treatment planning, individual and family counseling, group therapy, support groups, and aftercare planning. Rehabs provide opportunities to learn coping skills to manage triggers that may arise when transitioning back to community and throughout recovery.
Long-Term Residential Treatment Programs - are longer than 90 days and provide inpatient care to individuals who would benefit more from longer term treatment. Long term treatment provides a longer time to learn and practice the skills that will help maintain recovery. Long term programs typically offer assessment, treatment planning, individual and family counseling, group therapy, support groups, parenting skills, anger management, linkage to vocational training, educational coursework, and aftercare planning. Rehabs provide opportunities to learn coping skills to manage triggers that may arise when transitioning back to community and throughout recovery.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) - combines behavioral therapies and medications to treat substance use disorders. These medications curb the cravings and in conjunction with out-patient or in-patient treatment, allows the person to focus on lifestyle changes that lead to recovery.
Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) - MOUD is an approach to opioid use treatment that uses FDA-approved medications as the treatment for people diagnosed with opioid use disorder.
Outpatient Substance Use Treatment - includes a variety of programs in which individuals receive treatment at regular intervals while still being able to live at home. This treatment typically consists of assessment, treatment planning, individual and family counseling, group therapy, support groups, and aftercare planning.
SUBOXONE - is a prescription medicine indicated for treatment of opioid dependence and should be used as part of a complete treatment plan to include counseling. For more information, visit this website.
