The groups are free and open to the public due to funding by the Ulster County Office for the Aging and JFS. For information and registration, call (845) 338-2980.

Caregiver groups from the Alzheimer’s Association

We offer support groups for caregivers, individuals living with Alzheimer's and others dealing with the disease. All support groups are facilitated by trained individuals.

Caregiver Support Groups

Our in-person and virtual caregiver support groups offer comfort, reassurance, practical advice and a community of people who are facing similar challenges. These meetings are for family members or friends caring for someone living with Alzheimer’s disease, another dementia or a related disorder. (Please note they are not appropriate for professionals or paid health workers.) Click here to view local caregiver support groups or call the Alzheimer's Association 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900.
