The Ulster County Suicide Prevention Advocacy and Knowledge (SPEAK) 

Ulster County SPEAK is a coalition of community partners working to educate others about the warning signs and what you can to prevent suicide.

SPEAK provides education and initiates prevention activities in Ulster County. Activities include direct intervention, awareness and response trainings, support to families and communities that have experienced a suicide, community engagement through traditional and social media, and education to reduce access to lethal means. As part of SPEAK, we provide assistance to individuals, organizations, schools, and the community in the aftermath of a suicide.

Ulster County Eating Disorder Coalition

A group of providers in the Ulster County Area who provide treatment, are looking for resources, or who support individuals who identify as having an eating disorder. This group meets once a month on the first Tuesday of the month to plan workshops and conferences in the Ulster County Area for providers. Human Services Coalition

This coalition is comprised of providers, and organizations in the Hudson Valley area. This is an opportunity to learn about resources in the area available to you and to individuals in the area, a chance to network, and to promote your services and events.

Ulster County Care Transitions Coalition

The Ulster County Care Transition Coalition, initiated in March 2014, represents 47 member organizations that include hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health care agencies, hospices, physician practices, county-based services and community service providers in the Ulster County region. The Coalition is led by the Director of Ulster County Office for Aging. These organizations have been working together to ensure healthcare is as seamless and safe as possible with the necessary supports and information to help their community participate fully in their health & wellness.
